The first Zen Café opened its doors at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny, setting the tone for a new kind of hospital experience.
Designed to deliver high-street quality within a healthcare setting, the café has quickly become a daily ritual for staff, patients and visitors, bringing warmth and quality food and coffee to the heart of the hospital.
With locally sourced produce, barista coffee and a welcoming atmosphere, Zen Café shows how a thoughtfully designed space can positively impact wellbeing in a clinical environment.
